Brindabella Wine Tours
This is our touring arm of the business which conducts wine tours of 6 main grape growing and wine making areas. Please note that we are not transport operators nor by choice are we any longer a registered bus company. We provide guided educational and enjoyable tours of the wineries with professional, competent and well trained staff. We specialise solely in these tours and do not conduct numerous other types of tours as general bus companies do. We subcontract buses from carefully selected tour operators and we place our guides on these buses to enable you, our special guest, the best possible experience.

Tour booking/cancellation conditions
Booking/Cancellation Conditions. As a small company we do ask intending passengers to provide us with as much advanced notice as possible when they decide to travel with us. We try to keep our costs down by obtaining the best deals that we can at wineries, restaurants and with bus companies. Therefore in many instances we pay for those services either in advance or certainly at the time of the tour. We therefore ask you to respect our booking/cancellation conditions.
Please note that final payments for all group tours are required no later than one week in advance of the actual tour. At the time of booking we ask for a 25% deposit with the balance due one week prior to travel. It is assumed that when a deposit has been paid that the tour is definite and the obligation to undertake the tour is part of a contractural agreement.
One week prior to travel we do request final numbers, confirmation of pick-up/set-back points, and any dietary concerns. We will also confirm the itinerary which is subject to last minute changes at times due to circumstances beyond our control. It is not possible to reduce numbers of participants nor to refund non-attendees or to accept cancellations after this time. However, it may be possible to add to numbers and certainly substitutes for non-attendees are most welcome.
With individual bookings (that may have been made prior to our April announcement) we are able to accommodate refunds if we receive at least 48 hours advance notice. In the event of cancellations (after a deposit has been made and within 48 hours of travel for individuals) an administrative fee of 30% of the total tour cost is retained by our company to cover staff time, telephone/fax calls and processing of any credit card fees. For group tours if a cancellation is received after the deposit has been paid, 50% of the deposit fee is forfeited if there is a change of mind or circumstances within 2 weeks of travel. Unfortunately outside of this time period it is not possible to provide any refunds as our company has obligations to make in respect of staff, vehicles, bus operators, wineries and restaurants.
With Gift Vouchers, they are valid usually for a period of between 6 and 12 months (exceptions might be where the Gift Voucher is a donation from our company and it may then be subject to a more specific or even shorter time period). We do ask people to contact us well in advance of their intended tour to enable us to organise a tour and to provide us with a number of alternative dates so that we may try and organise a group. It is not possible to cancel a booking when using a gift voucher after the booking has been made. In such a case the Gift Voucher is forfeited. If you do have a gift voucher please give us as much notice as possible when you wish to use it. WE REQUIRE AS A MINIMUM ONE MONTH'S NOTICE IN MOST INSTANCES - THE DECEMBER/JANUARY PERIOD IS USUALLY A VERY QUIET PERIOD SO END OF YEAR BOOKINGS SHOULD BE MADE NO LATER THAN OCTOBER. NOTE: our last Wine Tours for the 2008 calender year (not including group bookings)will be Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 December. New Year bookings will be available from mid-January.
