What the club does not do: we will not send you wines at any time of the year unless you want them! We do not believe in selling you wines that you might not want and which could arrive when you cannot afford them.
What the club does provide: exclusive membership (limited number available - 200 maximum) with privileges to a whole range of wine products and services; regular discounts on a full range of products including Wines, Wine Accessories, Wine Appreciation Courses, Wine and Food Matching Dinners, Regional Winemakers' Dinners, Wine MasterClasses, Wine Tours and any other functions that we may organise from time to time; invitations to "members only events", including previews, product launches, talks by visiting winemakers, and showcasing and sampling of rare and limited wines; and guaranteed first preference to tickets for all our functions and events.
Specific benefits include: a FREE personalised Canberra District Wine Tour consisting of 4-6 members only (valued at $150); 20% discount off the regular price of all our wines (5% discount off the sale price of our wines) - (valued at $80 based conservatively on a 2 case purchase per year); 10% discount off Wine Appreciation Courses, Wine and Food Matching Dinners, Regional Winemakers' Dinners, Wine MasterClasses and any other additional Wine Tours and other functions (valued at approx. $200 based conservatively on attendance at 30% of functions); a FREE in-house Wine Tasting Session for between 15 and 20 people (valued at $600); and an invitation to attend our Annual Christmas Party/Drinks as our guest free of charge (valued at $125).

PLEASE NOTE: membership of ACTWIN's Wine Club is based on a term of 12 months from the time you pay your fee to join; the use of benefits is exclusively for the member and expires after 12 months whether or not the benefits are used; benefits are NOT transferable to any other person and may not be redeemed or exchanged for cash or any other product or service; the free Wine Tour is of the Canberra District and is available during either March/April (Harvest Festival) or October/November (Wine and Roses Festival). Please give us at least 2 weeks notice of your intention to join one of our tours. Lunch is not included in the tour but is available as an option; the in-house Wine Tasting Session is limited to one session per individual or per couple membership; a Membership Card will be issued to each member through the mail. Please either produce this card or give us your name and/or membership number when purchasing any of our goods or services to ensure that you receive the appropriate discount (discounts are not retrospective).

This is how it works.
For an annual fee of $50pp (the 12 months commencing from the day you join) you are eligible to purchase wines and attend functions at Wine Club Membership prices - not withstanding that from time to time there may be particular wine specials etc that are just reserved for fully fledged Wine Club Members thus excluding Social Club Members.
The savings that you can make are incredible! One wine purchase alone will in most instances give you your Social Club Membership fee back to you in value.
